Frozen Strawberry Yogurt Bars

  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt


  • 2 cups strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup raw cashews preferably soaked in water for at least 4 hours
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Put all the crust ingredients in a food processor and grind until it forms into a sticky dough.
  2. Roll out the dough between two pieces of parchment paper and transfer into a mold or a pan lined with parchment paper (I used a 5"x9" (13cm x 23 cm) pan).
  3. You may need to press with your fingers to set the crust and give it final shape. Set aside the crust.
  4. Put yogurt ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the pan and spread over the crust.
  6. Freeze for 5 hours or overnight.
  7. Thaw at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
