I always try to keep a delicious and healthy treat in the freezer to ward off dessert cravings, so I am quite fond of super easy, no-bake recipes like this. These delicious little ones have a lot going for them. I love the taste and crunch of the hazelnuts, the chocolatey goodness and the fact that it comes loaded with protein. Peanut Butter Pretzel Fudge

Sometimes my food fantasies build up to a dessert that I can’t even stop thinking about. The inspiration for this was likely just chocolate dipped pretzels. But those do lack a few things. Namely more chocolate, and peanut butter, and nuts! Now it is all complete. This is a delightfully milky (almond milky!), peanut buttery fudge with a really interesting playful texture thanks to the combination of pretzel pieces and hazelnuts. And the little bit of saltiness just make the sweet more three dimensional.

It is incredibly easy. No baking. Takes like 15 minutes or so and the whole recipe can be explained in about  a minute. The video doing just that is below, followed by the formal recipe.

Easy Mini Caramel Tarts
Zero to glorious in 15 minutes! This is so easy to prepare and so much fun to have available in the freezer for whenever the dessert craving calls. No refined sugars, #nobake, #glutenfree, #vegan, and incredibly delicious. The “caramel” filling here has a pretty convincing flavor with delightful tahini and peanut butter tones, and a relatively thicker consistency. Whenever I see chocolate and hazelnuts together, I get this tingly feeling inside. Especially true if it comes in the form of a cake! It is #InternationalWomensDay today I am treating myself well with this. And why not really? This cake is 100% whole wheat and #vegan, with no refined sugars.
